Lives, loves, dreams and possibilities – all connect in the enduring artistry of Bill Withers, an authentic American musical icon. Being one of the greatest American Composers of the 20th Century, he treated his utterly distinctive voice as a vehicle, not a centerpiece, and wrote songs about everyday lives with remarkable compassion. Withers garnered many awards for his discography, most notably winning the Best R&B Song of the Year Grammy awards for 1980’s “Just the Two of Us,” 1971’s “Ain’t No Sunshine”, and 1972’s “Lean on Me.”
