An innovative composer and electrifying performer, JJ brings a “take no prisoners” attitude to the stage night after night, blending Smooth Jazz, Traditional Jazz, Blues, R&B, and Reggae into a vibrant live experience.

A graduate and award winner from Berklee College of Music, he has shared the stage with numerous international artists and even performed at Sir Paul McCartney’s wedding in 2002. His festival appearances include the Berks Jazz Festival, Rehoboth Jazz Festival, Blue Note Jazz Festival, Seabreeze Jazz Festival, Mallorca Jazz Festival, Orlando Jazz Festival, Algarve Jazz Festival, Lake Arbor Jazz Festival, Cancun Jazz Festival, Arizona Jazz Festival, and many more.

“Think Karl Denson or Norman Brown with a bit more funk. A lot of the guitar work seems to be inspired by greats like Wes Montgomery and George Benson.
