Charlene Holloway is an acclaimed American R&B and soul singer-songwriter from Philadelphia. She began her career performing with her sisters before becoming a premier session vocalist for icons like Teddy Pendergrass, Patti LaBelle, Anita Baker, and Phyllis Hyman.
In 1999, she launched her solo career with the Neo-soul album Big, Bad, and Beautiful, which gained international acclaim. Known for her sophisticated "Philly Soul" sound, she has collaborated with legends like Dexter Wansel. As of 2025, she continues to perform with the Charlene Holloway Band across the Philadelphia region.
