The 26 year-old saxophonist Ikechi Onyenaka grew up in the Philadelphia area. His modern sound is a blend of Jazz and Blues with gentle grooves and a smoky Jazz timbre. Although his primary instrument is the alto saxophone, he also plays tenor saxophone, soprano saxophone, clarinet, piano, keyboard, bass, and drums.
